Question 1

How does the Five Pillars plan support my goals?

Accepted Answer

Each pillar applies a different planning lever — entity structuring, retirement and deferral vehicles, deduction acceleration, income timing, and credits. The dashboard shows the estimated effect of each one and the capital available to fund your priorities.

Question 2

Are these numbers a guarantee of my tax bill?

Accepted Answer

No. TaxZero is an educational modelling tool. Your actual return depends on facts we do not collect, and every strategy must be reviewed and implemented by a licensed CPA or CFP before you rely on it.

Question 3

What do I need to enter to get an accurate result?

Accepted Answer

Gross income, business income, current deductions, your current tax liability and filing status. The closer these match last year's return, the closer the projection will be.

Question 4

Who reviews my plan?

Accepted Answer

Your assigned advisor will review your source documents and calculation worksheet, will make private corrections if required, and will publish the approved plan for you.

Question 5

Can I share or print my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paid clients can use 'View tax plan' on the dashboard to preview a formatted PDF, download a copy, or email it securely to their signed-in account address.

Question 6

Is my data stored anywhere?

Accepted Answer

When you're signed in, your plan, scenarios, documents and requests are saved securely to your private account and are visible only to you. If you use the dashboard without an account, everything stays in this browser only.

Question 7

What happens after I request a CPA/CFP consultation?

Accepted Answer

Your request will be captured with your preferred time and topic. Your advisor will review the plan first and will respond, so the call will start with your numbers rather than a blank page.

Question 8

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Building and exporting a plan is free. Paid advisory engagements are quoted by the CPA or CFP after your consultation, based on scope.
